Day 8: A Wise Wife

Proverbs 14:1
The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.

A QUEEN SETS THE TONE FOR ORDER IN THE HOME AS THE HUSBAND IS RESPONSIBLE TO LOVE, LEAD, PROTECT AND PROVIDE. A FOOLISH WIFE WILL CAUSE HER HOME TO BE TORN APART BECAUSE OF DISORDER, ARGUING, FUSSING AND FIGHTING, A UNCLEAN HOME, MISHANDLING OF FINANCES AND WRONG PRIORITIES. IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND SETS ORDER IN THE HOME, ENSURE THAT YOU STAY IN YOUR POSITION. IF YOU’RE SINGLE, ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE RULES, STANDARDS AND BOUNDARIES IN PLACE.

5 WAYS TO BUILD YOUR HOUSE:
RISE, PRAY AND FILL YOUR CUP IN GODS PRESENCE.
CLEAN, ORGANIZE AND PLAN OUT ORDER IN YOUR HOME. ENCOURAGE YOUR HUSBAND AND LOOK FOR WAYS TO PLEASE HIM.
SHARE THE LOVE OF GOD WITH YOUR FAMILY ENJOY A BALANCED LIFE WITH YOUR HUSBAND

Proverbs 14:1 The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears her down. (A wise woman can improve a marriage, family, home, and estate. Not be foolish and rebellious and not to be distracted and lazy. She is a keeper at home. Instead of being a busybody, gossip, and window shopper. She guides the house so it is orderly, peaceful, and quiet home).

DO YOU SPEND TIME WITH GOD TO GAIN WISDOM AND STRATEGIES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY? Yes I do spend time in prayer and reading. I also have many dreams, this helps by being still and hearing direction and instruction from God.

DO YOU TEAR DOWN YOUR HOUSE DUE TO NEGLECT IN YOUR HOME? Sometimes. I don’t clean up for days or I will miss a payment or two, but its not all the time. I am working to be more responsible in these areas.

ARE YOU CONSTANTLY COMPLAINING ABOUT LACK IN YOUR HOME? No, I am grateful for what I have.

Esther 8 – she was a great woman! great women are not born they are made… great example is Esther. She choose to be great. She has the right priorities for her life, she is wise and disciplined. With these qualities her family and estate prospers!

ARE YOU WISE IN YOUR SPENDING HABITS?

Today taught us about how a wise woman builds her house up but a foolish ones here is it down. I can only pray that I do not tear my house down when I get married or now. There are many areas that I am working to get better in but I’ve never thought about them as tearing my house now. There’s a deep it makes me want to change the things I need to work on immediately. I know that there are areas that I must work on before I get married so I’m working hard to change certain things.
DO YOU SPEND TIME WITH GOD TO GAIN WISDOM AND STRATEGIES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY? Yes not as much as I should but I am starting to spend time with God more to seek him on wise decisions for my family.
DO YOU TEAR DOWN YOUR HOUSE DUE TO NEGLECT IN YOUR HOME? I don’t believe that I neglect my home not intentionally anyway due to my busy schedule there are some things I need to prioritize in my home though.
ARE YOU CONSTANTLY COMPLAINING ABOUT LACK IN YOUR HOME? No I do not complain about lack in my home because things could be a lot worse or than they are and I am blessed. I may not have everything I want but I have everything I need.
ARE YOU WISE IN YOUR SPENDING HABITS? I believe I am was in my spending habits. The only downfall that I have is spending a lot of money on fast food.

Proverbs 14:1 A wise woman builds her house up, and foolish woman tears it down with her bare hands… I have read this verse countless times and it never hit home until now. I am not a wife, but the past 2 years the relationship I was in I did bicker, argue, wanted things my way, did not listen to reason or try to compromise, if I did it was not for long. I consider myself to be very clean, just at times I do get bombarded with paperwork and it piles up and become a mess. I need to organize and structure how I deal with it, at times it gets overwhelming. Cleanliness is next to Godliness and that is where I want to be. I am currently putting a system in order, getting rid of the old, including the piles of paperwork around the place. In addition, I am working on my credit and spending habits organizing that. Setting examples for my children so they can grow and follow the right way. I am glad I joined this challenge I am learning a lot of what I need to do now and how I have been preparing myself in this single season. To God be the Glory!
