Day 5: A Equally Yoked Wife

2 Corinthians 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership
can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

SINGLE:
ALTHOUGH A HUSBAND HAS TO FIND YOU, GOD REQUIRES YOU TO CHOOSE SOMEONE THAT IS CAPABLE OF LEADING YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. YOU NED TO BE ON ONE ACCORD, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALY, SPIRITUALLY AND FINANCIALLY. IF HE DOES’NT FOLLOW CHRIST, HE CERTAINLY CAN’T LEAD YOU.
WIFE:
SPENDING THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WITH A DESTINY PARTNER REQUIRES BOTH OF YOU TO BE GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTION. IF YOUR HUSBAND IS NOT EQUALLY YOKED, GOD CAN DELIVER HIM AND ALIGN HIM TO HIS PLAN, SO DON’T LOSE HOPE.

WIFE ASSESSMENT
ARE YOU CONSTANTLY DATING MEN WHO ARE OUT OF GODS WILL?
DO YOU FIND YOURSELF COMPROMISING YOUR CORE VALUES AND BELIEFS, JUST TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH A MAN, WITH HOPE THAT IT WILL WORK?
DO YOU JUDGE YOUR HUSBAND FOR WHAT HE’S NOT DOING?
DO YOU FIND YOURSELF TRYING TO CHANGE YOUR HUSBAND?

Being equally yoked is not something i have considered in the past, I was not where i wanted to be with Christ so i did not know the importance. When you know better , you do better !!! I will no longer date men who are outside of Gods will. I have compromised so much in the past with the help of the lord those days are over for me, I am not married yet but i pray me and my husband are equally yoked so i will not have to judge him or try to change him

What I have learned on day 6, is that in order to have a Kingdom Marriage, a prosperous marriage, and committed marriage a couple has to be equally yoked. I will admit, there were a few relationships I have had in the past where I was not equally yoked with the person. I might have been at some point but I grew out of the carnal things that yoked us together. Even now that I have allowed Christ to take hold of my life and direct my footsteps, I desire more from my future husband, as far as standards and knowing and living for God, connecting with each other on all levels. Of course, we don’t have to be into all of the same things, but our yoke must match equally through God’s grace. Just like in Esther, the first Queen did not submit to her Kings ways, she had her own way of living and doing things without honoring and respecting him. I know God is working on me to be a Queen to my future King, whether I met him already or not. I pray and know that God is working on him. #KingdomMarriage #EquallyYoked #JesusIsOurThirdStrands
